U.S. Shipping & Import Charges

For orders accepted through our U.S. storefront, standard shipping is included in the rug's displayed purchase price. Applicable import duties, import taxes, and customs-related carrier fees are additional and are the recipient's responsibility.

Where your rug ships from

• Most vintage Moroccan rugs are dispatched directly from Morocco.
• Custom Moroccan rugs are made to order and dispatched directly from Morocco.
• Afghan rugs in our Afghan and modern collections are dispatched from Germany.
• Most kilims are dispatched from Germany; some Moroccan kilims are dispatched from Morocco.
• Runners are dispatched from Morocco or Germany, depending on the individual rug.

The country of dispatch and the country where a rug was made are separate details. Your product information and order details identify the relevant origin and dispatch information.

Import duties, taxes, and carrier fees

Standard shipping is included in your purchase price. Any applicable import duties, import taxes, and customs-related carrier fees are not included and are the recipient's responsibility. These charges may be collected separately by the carrier before, at, or after delivery.

Import charges depend on the product, declared value, country of origin, and the rules applicable when the shipment enters the United States. We do not promise a fixed duty percentage or duty-free entry. If the carrier requests payment or information for customs clearance, please respond promptly.

Delivery estimates

The delivery schedule depends on the rug, dispatch location, production requirements, and customs clearance. Contact us before ordering for the current estimate for your selected piece and U.S. delivery address. For a custom rug, production time and transit time are separate parts of the schedule. If you have a firm installation date, discuss it with us before ordering.

Shipping availability and contact details

Shipping availability is shown for your address at checkout. If your address is not accepted, contact us before placing an order. Provide a complete delivery address, email address, and a telephone number at which the carrier can reach you about delivery or customs clearance.

Receiving your rug

Please check the package and rug after delivery. If you notice damage or an unexpected issue, contact us with your order number and photographs of the packaging and rug. This request does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

Returns

Return shipping is separate from the included outbound standard shipping. Our returns and cancellation policy explains the applicable time limits, return costs, and treatment of individually made rugs.
