Where are your rugs made?

Our selection includes Moroccan rugs and Afghan rugs. The product description provides the documented origin of each piece. The country of origin is separate from the country from which it is shipped.

Where will my rug ship from?

Custom Moroccan rugs and most vintage Moroccan pieces ship directly from Morocco. Our Afghan rugs ship from Germany. The modern collection includes rugs of different origins; check the individual item's dispatch location. Kilims and runners may ship from Germany or Morocco depending on the piece. Is standard shipping included?

Yes. Standard shipping is included in the purchase price for accepted U.S. storefront orders. Applicable import duties, import taxes, and customs-related carrier fees are additional and are paid by the recipient.

Will I receive the rug in the photographs?

For a rug listed as a one-of-a-kind piece, the original photographs show that item. Made-to-order rugs are produced in the selected design and size; handwork can cause small differences in color, pattern, and dimensions. Room images labeled as AI-generated are styling illustrations.

What does hand-knotted mean?

In a hand-knotted rug, pile yarn is attached to the foundation knot by knot. A kilim is a flatweave without a knotted pile. Check the stated construction for the particular rug; the name of a style alone does not establish its technique.

Are all of your rugs made entirely of wool?

No blanket fiber claim applies to the whole selection. A rug with wool pile may have a foundation made from a different fiber. Refer to the individual material details, and ask us if you need information that is not listed.

Can I order a custom size?

Yes, on the models in our custom Moroccan rug collection. Select the available width, length, and fringe. Existing vintage and other one-of-a-kind pieces have fixed dimensions.

Are sizes in feet and inches exact?

They are rounded conversions. The original centimeter dimensions are the reference, especially when a rug must fit a particular space. Our size guide explains how to measure.

How long does U.S. delivery take?

Timing depends on the item, production if required, dispatch location, and customs clearance. Ask us for the current estimate for your rug and delivery address before ordering, particularly if you have a firm installation date.

Can I return a rug?

Our returns and cancellation policy explains the 14-day cancellation period, return-shipping costs, and the exception for individually made rugs. Your rights in the event of defects remain unaffected.

How should I care for my rug?

Vacuum gently without a rotating brush, avoid catching the fringe, and blot spills without rubbing. Follow the rug's own care instructions; do not assume it can be machine washed. Consult a specialist before deep cleaning delicate or vintage pieces.
